In 2020 Nicole created Kids Style Magazine to support small shops through the pandemic, kicking off the original small shop USA based magazine. Brittni, Nicole's sister in law took over when Nicole had her second baby in 2022, but we decided we wanted to transform Kids Style in 2023. Together we have both evolved a lot over the last few years and would like to bring something else to the small shop world.

In 2023 we are now selling children’s clothing and accessories as well as Womens (mom based) clothing and accessories. The whole idea is to provide a variety of cute and affordable clothing that works for all kids and adults. We will eventually be adding some specifically adaptive clothing and other items to our collections, but for now we will be offering clothing that is accessible for kids that may have medical or physical needs, kids with sensory needs and kids that just want to be stylish. 

Brittni and Nicole both have extensive backgrounds working with the disability community, children and young adults in a school setting. Brittni also grew up with a brother with significant disabilities and now has a disabled son who also has many medical needs. Inclusivity is something that has always been important…even more now having both a neurotypical and disabled child/nephew. Everyone deserves a space that’s theirs and a place to be all together! 

We feel really strongly about incorporating pieces that will appeal to everyone as much as we can. We will also include in descriptions how and why a certain outfit could be accessible, and there is a whole menu option for accessible clothing.

They magazines will not cease to be published, they will just be restructured. Look for future entry threads and make sure to grab a Kids Style PLUS piece to enter with. We will still list every other small shop on the pages, but each entry must have a Kids Style piece included as well.
Paper copies will not be offered for the time being, but digital will always be available and we always post the pages on our public facebook page for you to share.
